Celebrating National Day 2009
Yesterday was Singapore’s National Day and though I didn’t get the tickets to the National Day Parade (NDP), my friends and I went over to the area around The Fullerton Hotel to catch the fireworks. The area there was packed and there were many people who camped and hogged places to reserve the best seats.
Though the hotel looks majestic, the same majestic hotel blocked our view when the fireworks display started. Thus my friends and I ran around to try to spot the fireworks. Fortunately we managed to catch a few before everything ended.

To celebrate the public holiday, my aunt baked Pineapple Tarts over the weekend and I helped out.

Too bad you missed most of the fireworks…The Pineapple tarts on the other hand look yummy.I have no Idea what a Tart is though
