Hello Kitty Mug
While window shopping at Cathay Cineleisure today, I bought myself a Hello Kitty Mug from More Than Words. I still can’t decide whether I should bring it to the office or leave it at home yet. I haven’t had a mug ever since I accidentally broke the one that my best friend gave years back and have been surviving on my family members spare mugs that have been lying around.

Well at least it’s a start for 2010.
Recently, work has been crazy and I’m not very happy. I haven’t been drawing because I’m too busy trying to juggle work, family, friends and sleep. It’s only on Sundays when my instructor sits in front of me do I draw something. I think if this is the lifestyle working adults in Singapore is under-going, it’s no wonder the low birth rate. XD
Today was a fruitful New Year. Went tour guide mode for 2 foreign friends from Adelaide. We spent half a day shopping in Orchard. Just Ion Orchard, Wisma and Takashimaya Shopping Centre took up hours of our time. I visited Kinokuniya and bought The Essential Book of Useless Information: The Most Unimportant Things You’ll Never Need to Know (The New York Times Bestselling) for my mum’s birthday gift. Somehow I think that it might be entertaining for my mum to know “that Mickey Mouse was banned in Romania” for example. Useless but entertaining information.
I am still trying to finish 100 novels in my life. Till date I have completed 19 novels, hurray! However, I have been stuck with Twilight’s New Moon for a period of 6-9 months already. Novels like this make me wonder how long it’ll take for me to hit my 100th novel but well, it’s something to look forward to achieving in this life time.
This is just some random updates on my life. That’s all folks, I’m signing out. Have an awesome 2010, happy holidays! :)
To me a 100 novels dont seem like an awful lot and im pretty sure that im also scraping that after spending 25 years on this planet.I dont read awfully much but from time to time I do.
I am reading Terry Pratchetts Netion at the moment and while its actually a book written for teens I enjoy it alot.
HAppy New Year Hyn!
Wow what a cute mug. Ahh good luck with your goal for 100 novels… and yes to knowing how it feels like to have a job- albeith a part time one. At least you have a full time job.. ^_^ Definitely waiting now for the lunar new year, even though I know it would be like I had any relatives to visit.
