Bought the DVDs for Underworld and Underworld Evolution from TS at $15 each. Currently I’m still waiting for the price of Rise of the Lycan to drop before getting it.

I feel that both Underworld and Underworld Evolution are more exciting and interesting than Rise of the Lycans most probably due to the plot and context. Being someone who prefers guns and high technological gadgets to swords and horses, the battle scenes for the first two series are more exciting. Ultra violet and silver bullets? Yeah, bring it on! Silver broad sword and crossbows? …erm ok.

I also prefer the characters in Underworld and Underworld Evolution as compared to those in Rise of the Lycans. There’s the focus on more characters so that I have a higher chance of liking one when I didn’t like the other. There’s also more action since the war between werewolf and vampires are already taking place.

I like the ending for all 3 movies, especially the one for Underworld Extinction. Will there be another sequel or other side movies for the other characters? I certainly hope so because all 3 scored an above average rating for me.

Moving on to another topic, I went to the cinemas to catch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince but Disney’s “Up” advertisement caught my eye. It looks like a hilarious flick, with cute animated characters and I’m going to catch it. Anyone feel so too?
