My Favourites are the Onion Head Stickers!

Stickers, I buy stickers.

Stickers

This was a stressful week; I’m finally done with my 2 midterm tests. I had to prepare for school tutorials, speed read a Big Mac height history book for a class presentation and revise for 2 midterm tests. Though I started preparing since last week, time is always never enough.

Just to show the crankiness of campus life, I will bring out my day’s interesting observations and they have no relevance to my post’s topic. Today while waiting outside the examination hall and listening to “The Thong Song”, I observed my surroundings. It was packed with students but some were behaving out of the norm, weird. To my left was a person who was talking to a pillar while to my right was a couple and they were flirting. Clearly, I was a pillar because the guy to my left talked to me and then returned back to talking to the pillar while the 2 love birds to my right continued to ignore me. I was there.

When the doors to the examination hall opened, I moved slowly with the crowd only to hear a scream from behind. The scream came from a female who immediately did a follow up loud laugh. That was how stressful the folks are at my campus now, welcome to NUS.

Moving back to the topic on stickers, I have a habit of collecting them at my age. No, don’t be mistaken, it’s not those gigantic Pokemon stickers. What I usually buy are those cheap, small ones because they’re rather handy.

Stickers in my diary

Stickers act as markers for my diary and they denote an important point in my readings/notes if I stick them there.

Onion Head stickers!

I’m a huge fan of onion heads! A buddy of mine got this specially for me from China but I can’t bear to use them.

Do you have a practice like mine?

    Glad your mid-term tests are over, hope you did well (:

    I never knew NUS holds mid-term tests in actual exam halls! In NTU we take ours in LTs or regular classrooms, exam halls are reserved for, well, exams :tongue:

    I don’t collect stickers, but I remember collecting stamps once upon a (very short) time…

    I kinda am in the same situation.. I get these stationary sets, and they have really cute stickers.. so I really can’t bear to use them… Still I don’t collect stickers as much as my sister does. Good luck with the exams though…

    I collect stickers because I need to award the children in my childcare or during attachment. And they are crazy over those stickers.
    I hate exam hall, it’s always so cold.

    That’s an organized planner you have there! :smile:

    @Catherine
    Bwahahaha, I’m not sharing them with you! :devil:

    @bard
    It actually depends on the number of taking the course. The module that I’m taking has a large class size so an examination hall is needed.

    I frantically collected stamps when I was younger but now the stamp albums are kept somewhere in my storeroom. Sometimes, I will just browse through my collection to see if they’re still in a good condition.

    @animemiz
    My mid-terms are over but there’s still the final examination in late April/early May. Thanks in advance!

    @pp
    If you still have those old stickers, use them. Don’t leave them around to rot.

    @Dong
    Thanks! I’m forgetful so I need constantly reminding. Luckily I found this affordable planner from Popular. (:
