Suki Sushi Buffet Before CNY Eve
How are preparations for the Chinese New Year going? It’s the eve and I’m going to have the family reunion dinner (steamboat buffet style) later in the evening.
Yesterday I went out with 2 of my buddies to do some last minute shopping and I had my hair trimmed. Strange though, time passes in a wink and the day was over. What’s interesting was the part at Suki Sushi where we challenged ourselves to eat more than what we have paid for. The good news is that we did; we ate 3 times more than what we have paid but the bad news is that I lost to both my friends.

It was a fun food fight where we noted the number of plates we had and the most memorable was the 10 plates of Salmon Sahimi that we struggled but managed to finish. Suki Sushi has changed its buffet menu for the better and I see more variety on the menu. Certain dishes are served in nicer looking plates and even the Cineleisure outlet is nicely decorated with CNY decorations.

Nicer but heavier plates instead of the usual plastic ones.

I tried a little of the never seen before desserts like the above and a slice of cheesecake before having a cup of vanilla ice cream. Overall I like the new menu and felt that the quality of the food improved as compared to the last time I was there. I definitely will return once my fear of Salmon Sashimi subsides because of eating too many slices there.
I’ll end off with some photos of my favorite dishes there. Also not forgetting to wish everyone a happy and prosperous Chinese New Year, 恭喜发财!Get more 红包!

The cream puffs were not so bad after all.

Have you triede the Kikuzawa buffet at United Square? I heard for it’s price, the skillzzz and ingredients are superb.
Oh nope I haven’t tried it but just added the place to my list. Thanks for the recommendation!
