Nijuu Mensou no Musume Episode 9-11
Yahoo! Again I sat through 3 episodes of Chiko’s adventures in one shot. The plot becomes more complicated as it progresses but it’s good to see that Chiko is not alone in her quest for the truth. More enemies, as well as new found friends enter the scene to aid her in her investigations.
Episode 9
As predicted, Koito-san is very helpful indeed as Chiko’s friend or her comrade during fights, though she has the tendency to screw up at times. Koito tries to sound the feelings of Chiko towards Twenty Faces before taking her to a theater to investigate for clues that are related to Twenty Faces. They later meet 2 strangers who demanded Chiko to hand over some map and Koito confuses them by claiming to be Chiko. Frustrated, the attackers assault them only to be defeated.
The fight ends rather interestingly. Koito finally manages to use the 7 items that she brought and her moves made me laugh. Good news though, seems like Ken nii-san is still alive and he’s keeping a look out for Chiko. Meanwhile, Chiko’s evil aunt continues her plot to rid Chiko so that she can inherit her fortunes.
Episode 10
Chiko’s on a trip to investigate a gem that she spotted in the movie and she travels to a remote island with her maid, Tome-san, and her evil aunt. Her evil aunt of course has some evil plans up her sleeve and she plots to get Chiko murdered on the island.
Though Chiko meets Ken nii-san secretly, he fell out with her because of some misunderstandings. Chiko secretly runs out at night to investigates the surroundings and she found an abandoned lab, and an assassin. The assassin is charming looking but he or she can bend his backbone at inhuman angle. Also, being able to shoot one’s hand out like some air gun bullet and disappearing in blink is no small feat.
At this point of time, I find all the happenings rather suspicious. What exactly is Twenty Faces up to? What has the war got to do with everything and what secret experiment have they been conducting? Look at the assassin! He or she looks cool but have clearly inhuman abilities.
Episode 11
After much Chiko adventure in the previous episode, we learn more of Koito’s past in episode 11. The trio (Chiko, Tome and Koito) had fun at Koito’s house. Ah, makes me want to go for a swim too. Koito sees her double at the beach and breaks down at night and blames herself for causing her elder twin sister’s death. Chiko, not believing in the supernatural then spend the next few days proving to Koito that she has been hallucinating and thinking too much. Nice job Chiko, using her analytical ability to help a friend in need.
However, that weird attacker from before caught and hypnotized not only Koito but also Tome and the fat detective! -_-” Tome managed to break free from the evil spell and aid Chiko in escaping. Poor Chiko, she had to wander around in the rain at night. Beside having to worry about the assassin, Chiko had to worry about her evil aunt too. I’m actually shocked that a flower pot came crushing down from above as someone tries to kill Chiko with it, perhaps to create an “accidental death”.
Looks pretty cool, artwork is brilliant too. Too bad I’m entering NS in a few hours time or I’d watch it like, right now. Lol.

Singaporean NS = SRS BSNS?Finally caught up to 11 myself (blame my silliness in trying to watch as many of these iffy Summer shows as I can and neglecting the solid picks of Spring)If it really was Chiko’s aunt who dropped the flower pot, all I can say is “About time!” The poison soup was getting pathetic.Curious about Suigintou’s addition as the latest villain. Though her arm shooting was rather hilarious.
