OMG I have spent so much time in Facebook because it has those notes where others tag me, and then I tag them back, along with many others.
Recently tagging others in notes is spreading like wild fire in Facebook. You’ll notice that a friend would be tagged in a note and soon many others would be tagged. I’m unsure which joker started this whole note tagging episode but some are actually fun to do if I have the time.
Out of the notes that I have been tagged, I find the “25 random things” note to be the most interesting. To partake, I need to randomly state 25 things of myself and they can be anything under the Sun. After which I will then tag 25 others, inclusive of the one who tagged me in the first place. The origins for the “25 random things” are doubtful because I noticed that one of my friends was tagged with a “20 random things” note some times back but as time passes, the digits somehow increased to 25. Do you smell a fish somewhere?
I do hope that it would stay at 25 or be reduced because coming up with 25 random stuff is not easy at all if you’re intending to really answer the note seriously instead of giving 25 meaningless one liners. The other note that I’ve completed doing is the one on iTunes shuffle where my friends and I had a good laugh.
As for the other notes that I’ve been tagged, thanks for tagging me but please give me time to complete since I’m still trying to kill off my school essays.
I enjoy reading other friends’ notes about themselves, but I hate filling them out myself because they’re very time-consuming and I always feel like I could be using my time better (workaholic, that’s me). …Though I guess it’s kind of depressing when you see the meme spread to all your friends and no one’s bothered to tag you. :(

The 25 notes are definitely fun to read but cumbersome to write. I guess it’s a little disappointing if one of your bestest-best-friend “forget” to tag you but don’t take it to heart since it’s just like a mini game. Not worth weeping over a FACEBOOK NOTE right?

Still I prefer Facebook to Friendster. It’s actually a very handy application that keeps you updated on the lives of others whenever something happens. Now I’m aware of what’s happening to my relatives who are in New Zealand though we do not chat over the phone.
The applications and games are gimmicks but I fell for them due to boredom. (:
Yup, I was constantly tagged by my friends on the “25 random things” in Facebook too.
I used to do these meme in LiveJournal, but stopped because it’s really time-consuming but addictive at the same time.

The first thing I was asked upon arriving in America is whether I have a Facebook account.
Also, using Poisson’s Distribution, I believe the term “Facebook” is used at least 4.5 times per second in college.

Im pretty annoyed by this stuff and im glad I dont have something like a Facebook account.It may be fun in the beginning but turns out to be quite some task later on when you get a bazillion of those.

anyway the “25 random things” as u said is the most interesting. i got tagged once or twice. will only reply to the interesting ones. nobody says u die die must do the same what. or do u feel that if u don’t response it will seems rude? especially if your name is on top of the list of people your friends tagged. which means he/she probably think of u first. ^^;

I did a “25 random things” note and when the others tag me, I just add them to my list as I’m lazy to do multiple of the same note.

Oh, I usually tag have those who tagged me to be on the top of my list. After which I’ll pull in my closer friends, and then a random few others who I feel might find the note to be interesting. Usually I’ll try to reply to the notes that I’m being tagged because I feel “pai seh” if I don’t. They’re my good friends ma so no choice. (:
