I Predict That I Will Drop 50% of the Below Titles That I’m Following By the End of This Fall
I’m being greedy, picking up that many series this fall but this is what I’ve learn from last season; pick more instead of placing all the chips in a few baskets. Last season I had bad taste, I followed 4 series but 1 ended disastrously (eg: Ikkitousen Great Guardians), another I dropped it half way (eg: Telepathy Shoujo Ran) while the other 2 (eg: Strike Witches and Koihime Musou) were not really my type to begin with (mecha, pantsu…where is the shounen action?). So I thought, instead of limiting myself to only 4 series, I should pick up more so that I have the liberty to filter more away and not look so pathetic when I have no anime to watch for the week. Here’s what I’ll be or am following this fall.
Rosario+Vampire Capu2
Remarks: Rosario+Vampire Capu2 will be the Ikkitousen GG for this season.
Candy☆Boy OVA 3
Remarks: Finally it’s out and the plot continues. (:
Shikabane Hime
Remarks: I welcome action flick and a GAR lead that slays evil beings with open arms!
Chaos; Head
Remarks: Another action flick with a GAR lead? Wow, look at that weapon she’s holding! I’m loving this season already.
Tora Dora
Remarks: Reminds me of Shakugan no Shana but without magic.
Hakushaku to Yousei
Remarks: I’ll try something that’s set in the Victorian age of discovery setting.
Skip Beat
Remarks: Impz and usagijen were singing praises for Skip Beat that I’ve no reason not to give it a try at all.
I watched Shikabane Hime: Aka’s raw of the first episode, was not bad and should be able to finish it so long as it does not get derailed much. Still waiting for Chaos;Head to air and a sub of both it and Casshern. You should watch Hyakko for the laughs. Y-Quartet, for a first episode, was also pretty fine, while you can stay off Kurogane no Linebarrels lolol.
I predict I won’t much Fall animes because I don’t want anything else stealing my time and energy for pimping Skip Beat XD

oh also, just a disclaimer about Hakushaku to Yousei. It’s actually just mediocre IMO… Good, but not really remarkable, except you’re in it for the bishies or Lydia XD

I heard bad stuff about Kurogane too and Ascaloth was mentioning the bizarreness of Hyakko in campus earlier. Y-Quartet? Okie, I’ll give it a try too. Is it packed with action like Shikabane Hime?

The only one I’ve seen so far is ToraDora and that on was already on my list! I see everyone getting excited for Chaos;Head so I’ll too join and give it a try.
FYI, if Arts Central is keeping its promise, you can catch ToraDora on Thursdays and Skip Beat on Fridays.
Not sure what will happen once it moves to OKTO channel on the 18th though.
