Strike Witches Episode 8 – Love Complicates War
I was looking forward to more Minna’s screen time since the start of Strike Witches but episode 8 on her is so boring that I regretted looking forward to it in the first place.
Episode 8 touches not on Minna’s simple past but on her love-love relationship with a guy whom she has difficulty letting go. Because of not wanting to let the others get hurt, she decided to impose a rule where there should be minimal interaction between a witch and the hangar guy. Due to the an unfortunate incident, Minna orders little or no interaction between hangar man and the witches for whatever reason she has. -10 points for Minna’s over-reaction and another 10 points for whatever she was doing at the end of the episode; that’s definitely not the way how one should treat a platoon mate.
However, there’s some interesting discovery when it comes to plot. I know that Neuroi comes in various shapes and sizes but I didn’t know that they can break up into many parts and fly around in cube form while shooting lasers.
Minna looks sexy in that red outfit and the song that she sang sounds nice though I’ve no idea what the lyrics mean. Just sit back, relax and enjoy the melody. 
I hope that this episode is the last to Minna’s love life. Wouldn’t want to see her shooting some busybody *ahem Major Sakamoto* over this issue.
She wants to protect people so she’ll shoot Sakamoto. Makes complete sense.

What iritates me the most is that the end of this episode seems to have no impact on the following storyline.I still wonder how they are going to fix that situation.
Lesbian hate sex ensue after that scene. I guarantee it.

That’s a tough one, neither Minna nor Mio are seen as submissive. Hmm…
I am more concern about the fact that a Witch was in a dress that did not reveal her pants.
