Sola Episode 1 – I’m Charmed by the Sceneries
It’s the holidays! ROAR!
Before I scout for a summer part-time job, I’m going to do some catching up in the anime arena. To start things off, Sola is first in line. Special thanks to Ascaloth for the loan.

After episode 1, I’m totally in love with the skies and the sceneries in the show. In Sola, the skies are beautifully portrayed and the art easily charmed a newbie like me. I’m also more knowledgeable when it comes to cloud at the end of this episode.

Breath taking Sunset scenery

Story told from the perspective of Morimiya Yorito, a student who loves photographing the skies.

Yorito’s sister creeps me out! O_o

How I wish tomato drinks look like the above with such cute packagings!
The plot seems to be moving at a rather fast pace for there are even fights in the first episode. That’s the way to go but fighting in the very first episode in a church? Wicked!
sola is still one of my favorite anime from 2007, it’s such a visually appealing anime! ^_^
I don’t want to bring your hopes down…but sola is a slow-paced anime and you won’t see something like that again until the later episodes.
I love this anime though the build-up is pretty slow at the start and because of that, I almost gave it up until much later. Stunning graphics.
Wow. I stopped at episode 11 and it has been a while. Ain’t gonna spoil it for you but you are in for a treat when its plot and drama develops.
Too bad I am a cold-blooded bloke who is unable to fanthom such emotional moments.
Looks nice.. maybe I’ll give it a try during the hols. :)
@53RG10 and Starvade,
My impression of it is great so far. I especially like the graphics and art work. Sola Project has done the anime justice in the graphic arena.
@The Sojourner,
Oh, plot development? I’m looking forward to it for I love mysteries. (:
@wr,
Give it a try buddy!
Sola, huh? That brings back memories. It was one of my top 10 back in 2007. I would put ef over it, through. You should check that out as well. ef ~ a tale of memories~
Just as everyone has told you, this show is great in many aspects, not to mention the fact it gained first place in the Best Anime of ’07 rankings in Japan.
@Stifler,
A Tale of Memories? Noted, will check on it when I’m free. Am running a list of “To Watch” series during my holidays.
@Shin,
1st place! Oh gosh, I didn’t know about this but I’m glad it did. I simply love the graphics and plot so far! (:
