Dance in the Vampire Bund – Rich Loli Vampiress As Ruler
The loli vampire below is the exact opposite of Misaki from Blood Alone. Here’s a quick check on her credentials.

- Has money
- Has power
- Has status
- Has brains
- Has brawls
Meet royal princess Mina Tepes who’s the ruler of vampires and in-charge of the pitch black darkness of half of the world. She’s rich, so rich that she paid off the bad debts that the Japanese government incurred. In return, the government had to concede a man-made land to her where she named it the “Bund”. There, she plans to make it a haven for vampires and to turn it into an official place where vampires can come to live.
Hence, imagine the horror when the public learn of a soon to rise vampire settlement. Worse, the majority of the humans never knew that vampires existed. Not only humans, the other creatures of the dark panicked too when her royal highness announced her plans to the world. So what do panicky beings do? They try to assassinate her so that her plan will fail.

For every hime-sama, there’s a knight in shiny armor who would be her guardian protector. This particular knight of hers is Kaburagi Akira. Currently a 17 year old high school student, Akira met her highness 7 years back when they’re both kids. He has sworn his loyalty to her back then and he’s now here to fulfill his promise. Akira is a responsible character who would go to great lengths just to protect hime-sama. His heightened sense and his quick wits come in handy when in sticky situations.

Its in the genes, she has a loli body as her clan takes a long time to grow. Though so, she’s no kid as she’s mature in thinking and has to be in charge of her vampires. However, her soft spot is Akira and she can be rather childish and spoiled when she’s with him.

Dance in the Vampire Bund is for fans of action, vampires, and the supernatural. Set in the modern world; expect to see special tactics team bulging into hime-sama’s rest place with machine guns as they try to wipe her out. When there are guns involved, expect gore and violence but its rather mild in my opinion. Though it’s pretty much categorized as an action series, there are also some tender moments, coupled with comedy to balance the action. The relationship and past between Akira and hime-sama is slowly disclosed and there are many hilarious moments between them.

Personal maids of hime-sama VS human assassins.
Though there are some tender moments between the leads, the plot actually revolves around hime-sama plans and her bund. What exactly are her intentions? Why did she create a bund and what’s her motive for doing so? Volume 1 did not provide much of an answer to what hime-sama is plotting as the characters are settings are slowly put into place. Currently, published by Seven Seas Entertainment, volume 1 cost around S$16; volume 2 is set for release in mid-August.

Hynavian obviously made this post to entice me.

Dance in the Vampire Bund…I actually came across this in Comics Connections a couple of times but never bother to buy it. The character design for the loli vampire fails to interest me.

@Andy Bailey
Thanks for your help, have left you a message on your site.
@Stifler
I also felt that the loli design could’ve improved a little, like making Hime-sama more attractive looking, since her subordinates look cooler and sexier than her. But the plot makes up for it, I’m still trying to guess what she’s up to and there’s an undisclosed adult version of her around (who surprisingly looks a little like Moka from R+V).
Must… resist… more manga before uni starts up again… *fails*
