Strike Witches Episode 5 – B00bs Grabbing Madness!
There’s such a big change in the personalities of some of the characters that I feel that I do not know them anymore! The biggest change can be seen in Yoshika and Major Sakamoto and I have to re-rank my Strike Witches chart. Below is a summary of episode 5, followed by my personal +/- point system for some of the characters.
海だ!!! To sum it up, the girls head over to the beach for training cum fun session. Fans of Shirley will love this episode as much of her past is disclosed. She’s a speed devil who has broken records with her bike and she joined Strike Witches because she was charmed by the speed of the Striker unit. Her aim is to exceed the speed of sound (Mach 1) and she’s constantly modifying her striker unit so as to achieve it. During their outdoor beach training, a Neuroi managed to slip pass the radar and Shirley went after it after Yoshika spotted it. For this episode, Shirley spear head the anti-Neuroi attack and she smashed the Neuroi into bits, solo. XD
Yoshika
-100 for dreaming, thinking and grabbing the b00bs of the other characters. It’s such a big change in her that I find it hard to accept; she grabs too many b00bs for this episode.
Shirley
+10 for her “live to eat” attitude, the girl clearly enjoys food.
+10 for baby sitting Lucchini.
+10 for her friendliness towards others.
+10 for knowing how to enjoy life as it is.
+10 for her speed devil attitude.
+10 for her technical specialty since she’s into modifying engines.
Lucchini
-10 for being such a clumsy dot; knocking over Shirley’s striker unit.
+100 for knowing how to fix it without prior knowledge. XD
Major Sakamoto
+10 for her “always so serious” attitude.
-50 for her sudden change in attitude. Major Sakamoto was so friendly and always laughing out loud in the first few episodes but she’s so cold and distance in this episode.
Commander Minna
+10 for her cool as cucumber attitude when the newbie were drowning at sea.
+10 for her friendly threats.
Gertude Barkhorn
+10 for her serious attitude; she’s the only one seriously swimming at the beach.
Erica
+100 for her dog style swimming; it’s epic! XD
The other characters did not gain or lose any points this time round and they’re excluded. My favorite scene is where Erica did her dog style paddling in water. She immediately came into the scene after we see Barkhorn swimming seriously. What a hilarious way to contrast 2 characters. XD Next episode would be on Sanya and I hope that Eila will get some screen time too since they’re always hanging out together.
So Miyafuji lost points…well, to me she gained some! What I like about her was that it’s not a perverted kinda ‘admiration’, it’s more innocent has she is not completely sure on why she’s intrigued by them. My guess is yuri, but it could be something else! ^_^’

I don’t care what anyone says, Shirley will forever be my favourite no matter what happens simply because she broke the sound barrier. Fast = Good. Supersonic= AWESOME.
