What’s On Your Local Cinema?
Recently I’ve been heading to the cinema way too often. School is starting soon and I’ve been catching various movies with different group of friends. As we know, it’s a pain to wait for the show to actually come on screen. The waiting time can be as short as 5 minutes to as long as 15 minutes and while waiting I’m exposed to that many advertisements. My local cinemas repeat their advertisements; they keep repeating the same few once before every movie. As I’ve been watching way too many movies for the month of July, I’ve seen certain advertisements repeating itself and repetition is a good marketing device as I actually remember some of them.
Just to share with all, this is my favorite advertisement and I always look forward to seeing it in when I’m in the cinemas.

Ah I love this advertisement. Spotted it during the commercial break of Mythbusters. Man, that show totally rocks.
Stephen Hawkings got like 0.5 seconds of cameo. Hurray.
That’s probably the best advert ever to actually make me want to watch an educational channel. It’s not going to happen, but nice try.

That clip was just awesome. I saw it on the discovery channel a few weeks back and couldn’t get it out of my mind. xDI managed to spot cameos from a few shows; namely dirty jobs, mythbusters and future weapons. LOVE THOSE GUYS! >=D

The ads for Discovery Channel will soon make it to your area blissmo! Too bad they don’t feature bunnies or we could make a parody out of it. XD
that commercial has been going on for a few weeks on discovery channel :D you’ll catch it often if you’re a discovery regular. I think all should watch discovery channel more often, you can really learn a lot of stuff from it although you’re watching tv.
I don’t have cable, hence, can’t watch discovery channel. I find Discovery Channel weird; playing their own advertisement on their own channel when the folks are already subscribed to it? They should advertisement on the other networks like channel 8 or channel 5 instead.
