Start July Renovation Status
The house is nicely painted, tiles done, and the kitchen cabinet is 95% complete. The missing 5% is due to a missing door and some touch-up needed for the cabinets.

With the help of my dad, we managed to hang that heavy chicken picture onto the wall. We’re still looking for a coffee table and a console table for the TV and players.

I’m still cleaning and arranging items to their proper place. I swept and mopped my room thrice but the room still feels sandy. Spent the day taking measurements and moving some of the furniture around. Still missing key furniture like a bed, wardrobe, mirror and a storage wardrobe. Visited IKEA and saw some that I like but am still deciding whether to purchase them. Transportation and fixing the items would be a problem since IKEA items come in easy to carry packages instead of fixed and ready ones delivered by local stores.

I’m probably returning to IKEA to get the storage wardrobe and the mirror the coming week.
