Flower Flower Chapter 7

To recap previously, the crown prince was portrayed as the antagonist as he acted mysteriously behind the back of Shu. The lines between the good and the bad guys are blurred as Shu’s maid is on Shu’s side but she also has some hidden agenda. I was hoping that chapter 7 would give more insight into what the characters have up their sleeves but it concentrates on the relationship between Shu and Nina. Even so, there is little development between them and the chapter is boring.
Previous chapters usually have a plot that revolves around Shu trying to please Nina, trying to improve their relationship, but Shu’s plans would often fall through because something unexpected happens and Nina becomes pissed with Shu. However, all will be well at the end of the chapter/day because Nina will be impressed with Shu’s efforts and all is forgiven. However for chapter 7, it has no sweet ending and there’s a cloud of mystery left. I miss the humor that is found in the previous chapters and chapter 7 could easily be the most boring one without a cliff hanger.
Hopefully the next chapter would be a little more exciting with some twist.
