The Icing Room
It was cousin’s Jo birthday yesterday! I met my cousins at Jurong Point’s The Icing Room in the late afternoon so that we could customize a cake for Jo. What is best was that we got to decorate the cake, our style.
We only bought a mini vanilla cake since it was only a small get together party.
Added in the words and decorations.
Not too flimsy for our 1st try.
But then again when we look at those professionally done ones that were on sale…
Those professionally done were more awesome looking!
Though yesterday was Hari Raya, I expected Jurong Point to be crowded but there was still space for navigation. However certain buffet restaurants like Kushinbo had long queues so we settled for something Western instead. Jo chose New York New York to be the spot where we celebrated and sang her a birthday song.
I signed up for New York New York’s membership yesterday and received a range of offers and discounts. Free drink, 10% member discount, vouchers, red wine or chocolate Fondae?
I went with chocolate fondue since my cousins are below the drinking age.
Not forgetting the chocolate too.
Overall it was a fun filled night of laughter and we went home bloated. Jo, hopefully you have enjoyed your very special day. Stay cheerful always. (:
i like the cake u design, i’m going to the icing room soon to decorate my friend birthday cake too. do we need to buy our own cake and bring it to the icing room or we can just buy it at the icing room? pls reply asap thanks.
