Remember my post, Where the Hell is Matt?, that was done some time back? My friend Daniel, decided to do something similar in National University of Singapore (NUS) and he submitted the video for a competition.
Please feel free to take a look and support Daniel, thanks. (:
Since young, there were times when I wanted to enroll myself at the music school just to learn an instrument or two. It was either the piano or the guitar for me. I wavered between these 2 instruments for years and it was only during my Junior College (JC) days when I came to a decision and joined my JC’s newly set up guitar club as my Co-Curricular Activity (CCA).
My guitar club was a short-lived club. It was renamed “String Ensemble” in the 2nd year that it was set up but it did not survive to see the 3rd due to some school budget problem. Nevertheless I learn much from the less than 2 years experience.
Earlier in one of my lectures, my lecturer played a Geography related youtube video that I found interesting. Not looking at it from a Geographical point of view (when something becomes studies, it becomes boring), I actually find it rather heart warming to be able to see that many people coming together to dance with Matt.
Recently I’ve been heading to the cinema way too often. School is starting soon and I’ve been catching various movies with different group of friends. As we know, it’s a pain to wait for the show to actually come on screen. The waiting time can be as short as 5 minutes to as long as 15 minutes and while waiting I’m exposed to that many advertisements. My local cinemas repeat their advertisements; they keep repeating the same few once before every movie. As I’ve been watching way too many movies for the month of July, I’ve seen certain advertisements repeating itself and repetition is a good marketing device as I actually remember some of them.
Recently I think the Schnuffel “Kuschel Song” is getting to me. There’s the ring tone advertisement on my local television and I see banner advertisements of it on some websites. I did a youtube search and found it, the English version. What do you think of it? XD
