Visited Master Crab, the branch in Choa Chu Kang, for dinner with buddies. The restaurant was easy to spot when I was on the bus. In fact, my bus went passed the restaurant and I panicked a little till I realize that Sunshine Plaza has 2 bus stops (both apart from each other) and that I did not miss the stop. I back-tracked and found the restaurant by just following the direction signs that pointed me to the “food court”. The restaurant is located outside the food court and its hard to miss with that many tables out in the open.

Astons Specialities (Suntec City Mall)
Posted onAstons Specialities is probably one of my favourite Western cuisine restaurant of all time.
I have become a regular at the Suntec City Mall for lunch as the food is tasty and value for the money. A set meal with 2 side dishes (option of hot & cold side dishes) cost around $7.90 & considering the many over priced & not tasty food found in Suntec, I feel that it is really value for the money.

We had breaded camembert with cranberry sauce as appetizer before ordering pork knuckle and sausage latter for 2. The main courses were a little too much for my friends and I but we had our fill. It was my 1st time tasting both dishes and they were delicious. The pork knuckle was crispy and there was sufficient meat to go around for the 3 of us. The sausage platter for 2 has a good mix of sausages and we got to enjoy a portion of each sausage type. My favourite was the spicy chicken sausage.
Ah Loy Thai Restaurant
Posted onHad lunch at Ah Loy Thai Restaurant that is located at Shaw Towers one afternoon with my colleagues. Actually I’m not a fan of Thai food; sweet & sour spicy food is not to my liking. I will try my “best-est” to not order any Thai cuisine or visit any Thai restaurant if given a choice but Ah Loy Thai has done a good job in changing my impression of Thai food in general.

Pariss International Seafood Buffet Restaurant at Marina Square
Thankfully there were not many folks around for Saturday lunch and hence, the waiters & waitresses could devote most of their attention to my family and I. Marina Square is freezing cold, air-con is over-powered, like on turbo mode but luckily the temperature inside the restaurant was just right. Love the warm & cozy feel. Not forgetting to mention, the restaurant is nicely decorated. The restaurant uses a mix of colours, flowers, and light to create a comfortable and pleasant environment, love this style. Not forgetting about practicality, they even have a corner for us to wash our hands after our go at chilli crabs.
