How’s the festive season so far? Recently I’ve been partying hard; late nights, staying over at friend’s house, gathering with family, relatives, and friends.
My gathering with relatives is free and easy as we’re not confined to anything. There’s mahjong, board games, buffet, and a show area where shows will be played for the day. While watching the boring The Forbidden Kingdom movie, that’s when this came into my mind. If I’m to recommend an anime at such a gathering, what would it be?
Since young, there were times when I wanted to enroll myself at the music school just to learn an instrument or two. It was either the piano or the guitar for me. I wavered between these 2 instruments for years and it was only during my Junior College (JC) days when I came to a decision and joined my JC’s newly set up guitar club as my Co-Curricular Activity (CCA).

It was at the class gathering where I came into contact with board games the 1st time this year. I was never a board and card games person. Monopoly was okie, Scrabbles was boring, Old Maid was lame and UNO was a mindless card game.

C’mon trust me! It auto-runs so just sit back and relax.
My friends wanted to visit Marina Barrage to see a dam and I thought that my ears had failed me when I heard what they said.

A dam? Singapore has a dam? I thought we only have reservoirs?
Dongzhi is an annual event that is celebrated by my family. On that day, my family will cook a pot of tangyuen and whip up a bowl for everyone. The tangyuens come in a mix of pink or white color and they’re served in a small bowl of sweet broth. They have different tangyuen flavors and broth available but my favorites are the peanut and sesame tangyuens. Broth-wise, my family can only make one flavor so no option here (same sweet broth every year).

I feel that Otaku-ism is but only a phase in life though the phrase (long or short) would differ. To me, the various Otakus can generally be classified into the 3 main categories below.
Specific Group: Those who fall into this category is only concerned with a particular title, a particular figure, or a particular Seiyuu.
